YOUR
DONATION
AT WORK

Your generosity makes magic possible at the Rockland Conservatory of Music. Putting an instrument into the hands of a student, tuning a piano, providing tuition assistance and so much more.

OUR KEYS TO SUCCESS & GROWTH

Attract Talent

Just last year, attracting professional singer/songwriters, musicians and artists to the Conservatory to perform resulted in over 550 tickets sold and thousands of dollars raised. Plus, it provides us with great visibility and publicity in the community.

Fund Tuition Assistance

Last year, we provided nearly $50,000 in financial support to students and families, making good on Ed and Janet Simons promise that anyone with a desire to make music part of their lives should be able to do so, regardless of their ability to pay. This is a number we seek to increase every year.

Instrument Upkeep & Supply

RCM’s goal is to put an instrument in the hands of every student. Unfortunately, many are unable to purchase or rent one due to financial constraints. Also, every piano, harp, guitar and violin on campus requires regular tuning. A well-tuned instrument is fundamental to students’ discovery of music.

Launch New Programs

Thanks to your donations, we’ve been able to launch programs for those with Dementia and Alzheimer’s; provide therapy to developmentally delayed kids; and reach preschoolers and their parents to spark a love for music. Our goal is to be prepared and ready to fill any gap when it appears.

Maintain Facilities

In 2010, we were fortunate enough to purchase and renovate our forever home in a central, spacious, and beautiful building in Pearl River. But unlike renting, we now pay for everything. Your donation goes a long way towards keeping the lights on to fulfill our mission.

Community Outreach

We may be a local business, but we’ve attracted over 500 students who live up to 40 miles away. Reaching out to the community to spread the word helps promote our mission and fulfill our vision to make music accessible to students near and far.
