Burr Bear Music with Burr Johnson

3 mos – 4 yrs w/parent/guardian

These sessions are designed to teach through musical awareness, singing and other musical concepts, while emphasizing social creative play. Children have fun while developing their perceptual motor skills, music skills, integration and socialization skills, creative awareness, all as they sing songs and play games.

Happy Piano

4-6 years old

These small-group Happy Piano* class sessions are designed to prepare our youngest pianists for later individual piano lessons, while helping them to discover note reading and simple songs together and individually. 

The Suzuki Program (violin, guitar)

4 years old and up

Based on Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s principle that the very young can learn to play instruments in the same way they learn a language, by listening, imitating and being guided by a parent. For aspiring violin and guitar musicians.

*Supplemental group classes (included in tuition) are strongly recommended.

 

Discovering Instruments

4 – 7 years old

A small-group class that gives students the opportunity to engage with a variety of instruments as they begin their music journey. Piano, guitar, violin, ukulele and percussion instruments, as well as basics of music theory are featured.
